Application Challenge:
1. The composition and physical properties of absorption liquids, fluoride-containing wastewater, and sludge vary significantly. Certain measurement points are simultaneously subject to corrosion, scaling, particulate abrasion, or adhesion. If the wetted materials, sealing structures, and installation interfaces of the instrumentation are not properly selected, issues such as measurement drift, clogging of pressure-sensing ports, and an increased frequency of required maintenance are likely to arise.
2. Fluctuations in upstream production schedules can lead to variations in tail gas volume, wastewater inflow, and pollutant loading. Inadequate circulation of the absorption liquid, abnormal liquid levels in equalization tanks, or unstable flow rates can disrupt the operation of treatment units. Continuous monitoring of key parameters is therefore essential to provide a basis for circulation adjustment, liquid level control, and the management of operational anomalies.
3. During operation, absorption towers, mist eliminators, and transport pipelines may experience the buildup of deposits, leading to increased flow resistance; furthermore, the transport and pressure-filtration of sludge can be affected by changes in the state of the material. Relying solely on on-site manual inspections is insufficient for timely detection of these trends. Instead, parameters such as pressure, differential pressure, and flow rate should be utilized to help assess equipment status and schedule maintenance.
Solution Advantages
1. Based on the specific characteristics of the media—such as absorption liquids, fluoride-containing wastewater, and sludge—as well as the operating temperature, pressure, and particulate content, Micro Sensor provides expert guidance on the selection of wetted materials, diaphragm seals, and process connections. For applications prone to sedimentation or adhesion, we offer solutions such as flush-mount diaphragms, which minimize the impact of material buildup on measurement accuracy while ensuring both operational reliability and ease of maintenance.
2. For absorption liquid circulation piping, wastewater inlet/outlet lines, and various tanks or basins, we provide appropriate instrumentation for measuring flow, pressure, and liquid level, with temperature monitoring included as needed. By integrating these instruments with the on-site control system, we supply the data necessary for managing circulation pump operation, maintaining tank/basin liquid levels, and regulating flow between treatment units, enabling customers to promptly identify operational anomalies.
3. In relation to absorption towers, demisters, pump assemblies, and filter press equipment, we configure pressure or differential pressure measurement points tailored to specific installation conditions. By analyzing this data in conjunction with flow and other operational metrics, we assist in diagnosing issues such as rising resistance, transport irregularities, or blockages. Through the strategic placement of measurement points and maintenance access interfaces, we enhance the visibility of equipment status, providing a solid foundation for maintenance scheduling and sustained, reliable operation.
